Hold your loved ones dear.
Stare into their eyes , treasure the moments
you have with them. You have lived through the year.
Some people went to sleep last night and didn’t wake up.
Be thankful for the simple opening of your eyes.
Isn’t it a wonder how you and me live and breathe.
These bodies work 24/7 and only have the odd malfunction.
Look at the year that has gone so rapidly.
Look at it with the happiness you can. Remember the smiles
and the laughter of good cheer. If you can remember
the resolutions you made, the promises of change. Did you
keep them?. Remember your disappointments and qualify them
as a small stumble that didn’t even hurt that much. Adore your
achievements you made this year. You don’t get another 2006.
When you lay your head to rest tonight. Watch the stars in appreciation
give to them a few moments of awe, be happy that the same sky you
stared at in 2005 is still there for you to treasure.

As 2006 draws to a close and 2007 slowly creeps round the corner. Remember when in anger it is better not speak , as an angry man can offend a whole town. But a wise man will continue to pour the knowledge of the ancients on a town.
