Its not as simple as this, I’m making it sound
Trivial and naïve.
I mean have you ever sat back for a few moments and wondered who bestowed doctors with so much knowledge. I know medical school educates them. But where does the natural instinct of working under pressure come from. Who made medicine where did it begin when did start? Who told scientists that if they passed on the information doctors would be able to use it? I mean think surgery, who invented it. Is surgery what you consider performing a simple technique to remove a splinter embedded in your finger with a blade and tweezers.
Inform me. Or is surgery a skilled man or woman transofming someones life for the better. Who was the first human guinea pig to undergo surgery does anyone know. How did they feel even, were the thrilled by the fact they were making history and building a foundation for the future, or scared and only convived doing the operation was last option?
Doctors ? Who are they to you.
To me they are the individuals who make us laugh, make us smile, make us cry with good and bad news. But above all they are human, yet they put their human eneds and qualities aside to serve me and you.
This is why I want to be a doctor. I want to put my needs aside because I believe there is only one real reward and that is the patient walking out of the door healthy at the end of their ordeal.
