Follow me
A flash from the past a peice i found lurking around on my computer. Please comment hpw will i get better if you don't well enjoy your weekend goodnight.
Follow me.
Take off your hat dear.
And fold your jacket.
Why the puzzled look.
We are not going far.
Just on a small journey
Of empathy
Slip your feet inside my
Shoes dear I know they are
A size too big. And a little too
Experienced but just have a taste.
Get comfortable I’m not sure.
I want to swap just yet.
Because your innocence
Is greatly tainted with some
Amazing horizons.
Can you see the holes in the front
Dear. They are deep and painful.
Like the unhealed wounds.
Of the many bitter tomorrows.
And broken stained glass pasts.
Keep your head up stand tall.
In the face of the strange wide
Darkness.Can you see the ugly
Head of the spitting unknown.
Is that a tear I see appearing.
Can you feel chilly teardrops.
Unhesitatingly kissing your soul.
Are you cringing at my world.
The lonliness, the weight of a small
Child on your shoulders.Not knowing
If there will be food tomorrow.
If there will another generous offering
To keep us going. I envy you sometimes
You just sit and wait to be fed.
And looked after
