My secret hope
I have a secret hope in you.
I know that in times of need, you are there watching
Reaching out to pacify me in ways that I don’t always see
Please fight my cause . do not forget me or my good works.
I look to the heavens and cry Father.
Father do not forget me in my days of
Trial, necessary though they be no one said they
Would be easy. The days have come, the days of warfare.
The days when I must get on my knees and keep my eyes on you.
Forget what is happening around me and realise that you are all that matters.
Man can curse , man can utter but no man is like you.
At times it feels like my life is in the hands of a mere mortal human being
It seems like they can decide my destiny. It seems like they make it good and bad.
The king sit on the throne and all presume he is under his own authority. But he
Is under yours, for you have said that the heart of the king is in your hands and you turn it as you wish.
To speak a word to you is hard for I feel weak and I am shamed of my show of anger
Having promised to detach myself from the unecessaries.
I bow my head before you, I lay down with my eyes turned to you.
For Lord my hope lies in you. You have never let me down.
You know my goal and I ask grant it so that I made may do work that pleasures you.
I want to be a vessel for your healing a vessel for the divine knowledge you have given your people.
But at this stage despite the blunders only you can do. Just one swift move , just a slight movement of you fingers, a movement from your eyes a nod of reassurance
Is all this matter needs to be settled
For I put my secret hope in you.
The hope has been slightly bashed by the works of those who
Try to rise against me , but shut them up Lord kept their idle hands
Busy elsewhere, scatter them so they may not regroup.
For you who is great and has started this great work and instilled the desire in me
You will never ever fail. I announce that I put my trust in you .
I turn my eyes with hope and confidence only being invested in you.
I say Lord do it again , I cry that there is none quite like you.

Lord do not forget my sacrifices of praise and good works do not let my iniquity
Drown the good and or even blemish . For I confess that I am sorry.
