Justice
Justice
I heard a whisper through the grapevine.
I heard a strong song rattling within reach of my ears.
It was hissing and dancing at the heart felt joy.
I wondered what it could be unaware of such a tune.
It was catchy and gripping. But I didn’t understand its need for silence
Why hide when it was something so great ?
I heard a whisper through the grapevine.
I heard a strong song rattling within reach of my ears.
It was hissing and dancing at some heart felt joy
Then two faces appeared, facing each other mirroring each other’s movement.
The were symmetrical, no actually the word is identical . I searched further into the grapevine. Searching for what this thing was and on each cheek of each face there was writing. One said justice, the other had truth inscribed on her cheek.
I heard a whisper through the grapevine.
I heard a strong song rattling within reach of my ears.
It was hissing and dancing at some heart felt joy.
My heart yearned to know why a song so sweet hadn’t journeyed through the homes of the people in the world. Why was it that I had searched for years for the face of justice in my life and now with no injustice her faces had appeared . Her voice had matured, and left me behind trailing in the midst of nothingness. I had never hoped to see the day when people who did wrong were automatically disciplined. The days when the injustice would be erased by justice just as the sea washes ashore. Leaving behind a renewed person. Everything of the past disintegrated into a world that truly meant nothing.
I heard a whisper through the grapevine.
I heard a strong song rattling within reach of my ears.
It was hissing and dancing at some heart felt joy.
I sat by the grapevine that and found myself comforted by justice. The endnote
Of each tune swimming over me just before the next.
I heard a whisper through the grapevine.
I heard a strong song rattling within reach of my ears.
It was hissing and dancing at the heart felt joy.
